Meditating on Scripture
How can we meditate on scripture? It starts with a desire to know God more. Next, we read scripture regularly, as well as memorize it. Thirdly, we can spend an equal amount of time thinking about scripture as we spent reading it. For example, if we spend 10 minutes reading, we can spend an additional 10 minutes going over it again, repeating it in our head and thinking about it, allowing the meaning to become apparent to us.
The Good News of a New Mind
In this sermon, Pastor Wade will go over the importance of the need of a new mind in Christ, moving away from futile thinking and encourages believers to self-examine any outside influence that might affect their spiritual walk with Christ. A walk centered on Christ leads to spiritual growth.
