Sunday gatherings:
Our Sunday meetings are held at two different member's homes on alternating months. One month the church meets at a home in Rancho Cordova. The next month the church meets at a home in Natomas. Please call us to confirm the location of the meeting for any given month. Please call Brian at 916-304-3014 for more information.
Our meetings begin at 10:00 a.m.
What Are Your Meetings Like?
Our meetings are rather long (typically two hours or more) followed by a meal. You may want to give young children a snack prior to coming.
Here is what a typical gathering might look like:
9:30-10:00 - Arrive, greet one another, get something to drink, get family settled
10:00-10:40 - Opening Scripture Discussion, Praises, Prayer.
10:40-11:00 - Mutual Edification (praise reports, prayer requests, testimonies, Scripture). Small children in class.
11:00 - 12:00 - Main Teaching (sometimes lecture-style, sometimes discussion-centered
12:00-1:00 - Lord’s Supper (Pot Providence Meal)
1:00 on - Coffee and Casual Conversation
Should I Bring Food?
Please come as our guest the first time without bringing food. After that, you may bring something to share for our meal. Eating together is an enjoyable and important part of our gathering, so please plan to stay for the meal on the very first Sunday you visit.
What Should I Wear?
Most of us dress casually, and we all try to be modest.
What About Children?
We love them! The children are seated with their parents for the meeting. We provide a class for children under 7 after our time of worship.
May We Bring Relatives Or Friends?
Of course! You might want to call ahead and let us know how many will be attending so we can make preparations. We are excited to meet all newcomers.
